Sponsorships and Donations

AusNet Services is passionate about partnering with the communities in which we operate to deliver projects that have a wide range of sustainable community benefits. 

Each year our sponsorships and donations strategy is reviewed to ensure it is aligned with our values and corporate strategy, and offers the right level of support through sponsorships, donations, community development programs, employee volunteering grants and energy industry education.
 
As well as monitoring what's happening in our communities and supporting one-off projects, we also have long-term sponsorship partnerships with:

 

 

Community Development Fund

AusNet Services partners with local councils in our network area to offer a Community Development Fund (CDF) program. The CDF provides a $20,000 grant pool and is open to local non-profit organisations to apply. Successful applications could be granted up to $3,000.

Applications are open for the Strathbogie Community Development Fund.  If you are involved in a not-for-profit in the Strathbogie Shire, you are encouraged to apply for a grant of up to $3,000 for community-minded projects. To download an application form, click here.

Wyndham City ‘Connecting Your  Community’ Development Fund

In March 2016, we ran the 'Connecting Your Community' Development Fund in Wyndham City.  

A total $20,000 in grants were presented to 16 representatives from local community groups to help deliver a community minded project or service.

Our People are Community Minded

We're proud of the calibre and number of community-minded organisations our people are involved in through their local communities. To recognise the volunteering efforts of our employees, AusNet Services runs an employee volunteering program, known as Community Cornerstone. This program recognises employees who volunteer more than 20 hours per year at their local non-profit organisation, with a $500 donation for that organisation.
