We Are Now Hiring for our Apprentice Programs - 2019 Intake

We’re hiring talented women and men looking to shape the energy future of Australian communities. We’re passionate about building a diverse and inclusive workforce, and strongly encourage female applicants and those from a range of backgrounds to apply.

A total of 11 Apprentice Lineworker positions are now available in regional Victoria – Bairnsdale, Leogantha, Sale, Seymour and Wodonga.

  • Eight positions are open to female applicants under our Apprentice Lineworker for Women Program.
  • Three positions are open to all applicants under our Apprentice Lineworker Program.

Who can apply?

We are seeking motivated, confident, energetic applicants of all ages who are technically minded, into straight-talk, have a can-do attitude and are happy to get their hands dirty and comfortable working outside. If that’s you, you could be part of a team responsible for running safe, reliable and efficient networks for our communities.

To be considered, you would have:

  • A safety orientated attitude and need to be willing to work at heights
  • Successfully completed year 11 maths (or equivalent)
  • A manual driver’s license (or willing to obtain one as soon as possible)

Applicants will be required to complete a police history check and functional medical assessment which includes testing for drugs and alcohol to help us protect your safety and the safety of future colleagues. Shortlisted applicants will be expected to complete both online and in-person testing.
